Job summary

Siemens Mobility Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Strategy and Sustainability Professional to develop regional strategies across Asia Pacific and drive sustainability initiatives aligned with the DEGREE framework.

You will analyze markets, advise senior leadership, and coordinate cross-functional activities with ASP & Germany while delivering accurate reports and presentations to inform regional decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 3+ years in multinational setting preferred.
• Experience in project management or business development in global contexts.
• Detail-oriented; able to work in a fast-paced, time-pressured environment.
• Strong English proficiency and cross-cultural understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans representing Siemens Mobility interests in Singapore and Asia Pacific.
• Propose regional strategic interventions to support executive teams.
• Advise senior management on strategic decisions to pursue opportunities.
• Analyze business portfolio and recommend product/service development timelines.
• Develop business plans, BTAs, and quarterly reviews.
• Conduct market analyses to identify opportunities, trends, and competition.
• Advance ESG objectives and sustainability initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for regional leadership.
• Coordinate with ASP & Germany stakeholders.

Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented

• Develop business strategies representative of Siemens Mobility interests in Singapore and Asia Pacific.
• Propose strategic interventions on business or regional level in support of Head of Strategy and related executive teams.
• Advise senior management on strategic decisions to identify and pursue promising leads.
• Analyze business portfolio and recommend appropriate product & service development timeframe.
• Develop business plans and control target setting processes, Business Target Agreements (BTAs), and quarterly reviews.
• Carry out market analyses to identify opportunities, trends & competition and recommend suitable action plans.
• Develop proposals for external growth such as M&A.
• Assess implications arising from pressing industry topics (i.e. cybersecurity, digitalization & sustainability) to develop relevant business response strategies & roadmaps.
• Evaluate, develop, and support in the delivery of Strategic Alliances with selected partner companies.
• Cross-functional coordination to align goals/objectives/deliverables with relevant stakeholders across ASP & Germany.
• Prepare & deliver accurate business presentations & reports for senior leadership to inform regional decision-making.
• Lead and drive sustainability initiatives aligned with Siemens’s DEGREE framework, partnering with cross-functional teams to advance Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) objectives for Singapore mobility sector.
• Monitor and assess business-relevant sustainability developments, translating insights into actionable business opportunities and strategic initiatives.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

• Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record / Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with at least 3 years of professional experience in a multinational firm with complex organizational structures, particularly in Mobility or Strategy consulting will have an advantage. Operational business responsibility is preferred.
• Prior experience in a project management function and/or business development expertise in a global setting will be favourably considered.
• Eye for detail and able to work in a fast-pace, time-pressured working environment.
• Strong English proficiency and cultural understanding to operate in a diverse multi-ethnic environment.
