Job summary

Siemens Mobility Singapore invites you to an internship in Telecommunications engineering, focusing on renewal and refurbishment of systems such as Public Address, CCTV, and Master Clock, with project coordination across stakeholders.

You will prepare test documents, write PTW, supervise installation and commissioning, and work in a diverse, multilingual environment while pursuing a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment (railway stations).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multi-cultural team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Renewal and refurbishment of existing systems (Public Address, CCTV, Master Clock).
• Coordinate project activities with SWCs/Operator.
• Prepare test documents and PTW for required work.
• Site supervision for installation and commissioning works.

This is your role. What part will you play?

• Telecommunications engineering job aspect – focusing on renewal and refurbishment of existing systems such as Public Address Systems, CCTV or Master Clock and more.
• Project management based; to coordinate with SWCs/Operator and conduct planned job activities.
• Prepare the necessary test documents, write up and PTW in order to perform the required work.
• Site supervision activities for installation and commissioning works

• Undertaking a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (railway stations)
• Able to work independently and also a good team player who can work well in a multi-cultural environment.
• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess a Valid Student Pass in Singapore or satisfy the Ministry of Manpower’s Work Holiday Pass (WHP) requirements
