Job summary

PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency is seeking a Senior Engineer/Assistant Director (Planning) in the Water Systems Department to lead the development of engineering models for integrated water resource management and to oversee related R&D projects.

You will coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external agencies to ensure milestones, analyse data, prepare reports, and present recommendations to management. Strong planning, communication, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering /Geology/Geophysics or related fields.
• Strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS applications and/ or data visualisation tools.
• Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and a good team player.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and possess strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of key milestones, prepare reports and present recommendations to management.
• Undertake long-term planning efforts and collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful execution of project
• Engage external government agencies and stakeholders to facilitate project implementation
• Support documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Any other duties as assigned.
