Job summary

Chubb European Group Ltd. is seeking a role-focused underwriter to assess and evaluate risks in insuring.

You will contribute to developing underwriting expertise, applying insurance principles, and maintaining strong organizational and communication skills within a collaborative team. The position involves achieving financial targets for an assigned broker panel, executing distribution activities, and ensuring proper use of underwriting authority while adhering to product guidelines and growth

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of insurance principles, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve financial targets for allocated producer panel.
• Deliver set Distribution activities (Broker Visits, Key Account Management, Prospecting, New Business generation).
• Appropriate use of delegated Underwriting authority and risk assessment processes.
• Deploy capacity on New & Renewal Business including endorsements of coverage.
• Develop and execute personal Distribution plan for Broker panel, including renewal portfolio management and cross-sell.
• Collaborate with property, financial lines and casualty departments.
• Participate in joint travel/presentations.
