Job summary

fuchi pte. ltd. is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor/Tendering professional to support preparation and submission of competitive tenders for ERSS and construction projects in Singapore.

You will perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, pricing, and supplier sourcing while maintaining cost databases. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, specs, preparing pricing for materials and subcontractors, coordinating with design, operations and commercial teams, and ensuring timely tender

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering or construction management.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction tendering, estimating or QS work.
• Experience with ERSS, civil engineering, temporary works or construction is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and tender/estimation software; able to read drawings and specs.
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, scope of works and contract requirements.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimates.
• Develop detailed tender pricing for materials, manpower, machinery, subcontractors and other costs.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare tender submissions, pricing schedules, clarifications and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Design, Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to verify methodology, quantities and costs.
• Identify tender risks, exclusions, assumptions and potential commercial issues.
• Monitor market prices and construction cost trends to improve competitiveness.
