Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks a VP2 Strategic Alliances & Sourcing Specialist to lead technology sourcing, manage RFPs, vendor negotiations, and contract execution within a regulated bank environment.

You will partner with GTO stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, assess market opportunities, optimise supplier outcomes, and ensure governance and compliance across technology spend. This is a high-impact role requiring strong negotiation and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or contract management.
• Experience with technology RFPs, negotiations, and supplier engagements.
• Understanding of technology contracts, outsourcing, and supplier governance.
• Experience in banking or regulated environments advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate with technology, business, legal, risk and finance stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities for technology initiatives, including RFPs and contract execution.
• Review and negotiate technology contracts, outsourcing agreements with stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with strategic technology suppliers to support objectives.
• Partner with GTO to develop sourcing strategies and optimise supplier outcomes.
• Support category management and procurement initiatives across technology spend areas.
• Provide guidance on procurement governance, risk, policy compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage multiple sourcing engagements in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve sourcing processes and value realization.
