DBS Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced procurement professional to partner with the Tech COO and contract owners on technology sourcing and procurement. You will develop commercial strategies, manage supplier risk, and drive governance across the supply chain to achieve value and savings.
The role emphasizes collaboration with Legal and business stakeholders, adherence to risk frameworks, and ongoing process improvements across categories.
Partner Tech COO, contract owners and cross-functional stakeholders on Technology sourcing and procurement requirements, providing procurement advisory, commercial challenge, negotiation support, supplier evaluation input and governance oversight to achieve favourable outcomes aligned with organisational objectives. Develop contract and commercial strategies in collaboration with Tech COO, contract owners, business stakeholders and Legal, ensuring commercial terms, risk considerations and governance requirements are appropriately addressed. Drive compliance with procurement processes, 3rd party risk management policies and internal risk governance frameworks through proactive stakeholder engagement, advisory support and SME guidance to the units. Conduct independent assessments of supplier engagements to safeguard supply chain integrity, mitigate concentration and 3rd party risks, comply with data privacy and security framework, and optimize overall supply chain value. Build and maintain robust relationships with contract owners, stakeholders, control functions and supplier executives to foster collaboration, governance and value delivery. Support the Team Head on enterprise-wide efficiency initiatives, including workflow optimisation, process improvement, supplier base consolidation, aggregate buys and the deployment of category management strategies within assigned categories, where applicable.
Degree holder with at least 8 years of experience in procurement and proven track record in delivering strategies and bottom-line savings. Candidates with experience in indirect hardware and/or software technology procurement with team management experience will be preferred. Impeccable integrity coupled with strong ownership of goals and a will-to-win Strong understanding of strategic sourcing and procurement processes, with the ability to advise, sell and fulfil all sourcing needs of internal decision makers Strong risk awareness, with working knowledge of third-party risk management, outsourcing governance and related control requirements in a regulated environment.
