Job summary

Morgan McKinley seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join its APAC headquarters in Singapore. The role emphasizes managing supplier relationships, materials planning, and leading a small team to drive continuous improvements across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years in the medical devices sector, strong purchasing and sourcing experience, and a track record of reducing inventory and improving supplier performance. MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in medical devices industry or related sectors.
• Strong practical experience in supply chain management including materials planning, sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
• Understanding of supply planning, supplier collaboration, inventory management, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and negotiate with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and resolve urgent supply issues.
• Provide planning teams with updates on material shortages, delivery changes, capacity constraints and challenges.
• Lead a team to establish clear responsibilities, processes and efficient ways of working.
• Conduct regular demand and supply reviews with suppliers to identify risks and address constraints proactively.
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance supplier flexibility, responsiveness and performance.
• Lead and contribute to supply chain improvement projects, including inventory reduction and optimization.
