Job summary

TECHNIP ENERGIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Subcontracts Engineer to administer assigned subcontracts, serving as the main contact for commercial, legal, financial, and administrative matters.

The role involves coordinating with the Site Subcontracts Manager and Home Office, ensuring up-to-date documents, organizing kickoff meetings, managing variations and close-out, and supporting dispute resolution to protect cost and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with the Site Subcontracts Manager and Home Office to ensure proper distribution of subcontract documents and correspondence.
• Verifies that the site team and the Subcontractor have the complete and latest subcontract documents.
• Organizes kickoff and coordination meetings with site personnel and the Subcontractor to explain scope, contractual requirements, variation procedures, claim prevention, and practical implementation issues.
• Administers subcontract execution and ensures compliance with contractual terms and obligations by all parties.
• Prepares and issues subcontract correspondence, amendments, and contractual documents.
• Manages variations, work orders, and back-charges, including evaluation of their contractual, schedule, and financial impact.
• Supports the resolution of disputes, reservations, and claims, and reports risks or events affecting cost, schedule, or performance.
• Monitors subcontract progress, financial status, and quantity variations to ensure compliance with scope and schedule.
• Attends subcontract meetings and prepares minutes.
• Maintains complete paper and electronic records of all subcontract documents, including insurance certificates, bank guarantees, variation requests, work orders, reports, invoices, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
• Ensures proper close-out documentation and transfers original bank guarantees to Home Office Accounting.
• Advises subcontractors of reporting and invoice submission deadlines and uses the subcontract management software as required.
