Job summary

WOW STAFFING in Singapore is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and contract negotiations across raw materials, packaging, equipment and services.

You will manage supplier performance, drive cost-saving initiatives, optimise inventory levels, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Warehouse teams to fulfill purchasing requirements and ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
• Manage supplier selection, contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
• Source raw materials, products, packaging, equipment, and services.
• Negotiate costs, payment terms, minimum order quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, lead times, and reliability.
• Analyse market trends, supplier pricing, and procurement costs.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Warehouse teams to understand purchasing requirements.
• Develop cost-saving and supplier consolidation initiatives.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimising excess stock.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Prepare procurement reports, budgets, forecasts, and supplier performance analyses.
• Build and maintain long-term strategic supplier relationships.
• Lead and manage procurement executives or purchasing staff.
