the edge partnership holdings pte. ltd. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager (Metals) to oversee metal commodities across Asia, focusing on long-term agreements and supplier performance to improve cost efficiency and supply continuity.

You will drive commodity strategies, lead cross-site negotiations, monitor supplier metrics and coordinate regional sourcing projects, requiring Mandarin and English fluency and experience in manufacturing or regulated settings.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English to communicate with suppliers and stakeholders in Asia.
• Proven experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing or procurement with metal-related commodities.
• Strong commercial negotiation, supplier management, cost benchmarking and cost reduction capabilities.
• Experience in a manufacturing or technically regulated environment with knowledge of supplier performance management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned metal-related commodities across regional and international supplier networks.
• Negotiate and implement Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) to secure competitive pricing, supply continuity and favourable terms.
• Manage single-source suppliers, strengthen relationships and address commercial risks, supply continuity and performance.
• Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, benchmarking, cost reduction and contract management.
• Lead supplier negotiations and coordinate sourcing activities across multiple sites and stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance, inventory levels and procurement metrics and identify cost/quality/delivery improvements.
• Coordinate supplier transitions, corrective actions and resolution of supply or quality issues with internal teams.
• Support regional and global procurement initiatives, including contract implementation, logistics coordination and sourcing projects.

Strategic Sourcing Manager (Metals)

An established international manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage strategic commodities and supplier relationships across Asia. The role focuses on commercial negotiations, long-term supply agreements and supplier performance, with responsibility for driving cost efficiencies, securing supply continuity and supporting regional sourcing strategies.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Manage assigned metal-related commodities across regional and international supplier networks.
• Negotiate and implement Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) to secure competitive pricing, supply continuity and favourable commercial terms.
• Manage single-source suppliers, strengthening supplier relationships while addressing commercial risks, supply continuity and performance.
• Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, benchmarking, cost reduction and contract management.
• Lead supplier negotiations and coordinate sourcing activities across multiple sites and business stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance, inventory levels and procurement metrics, identifying opportunities to improve cost, quality, delivery and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate supplier transitions, corrective actions and resolution of supply or quality issues in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
• Support regional and global procurement initiatives, including contract implementation, logistics coordination and sourcing projects.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business or a related discipline, or substantial relevant industry experience.
• Proven experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing or procurement, with direct ownership of metal-related commodities.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), including working with single-source suppliers.
• Strong commercial negotiation, supplier management, cost benchmarking and cost reduction capabilities.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English to communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders across the region.
• Experience in a manufacturing or technically regulated environment, with knowledge of MRP systems, supplier performance management and continuous improvement practices.
