Job summary

Siltronic Silicon Wafer Pte Ltd. is seeking a procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing within a semiconductor context, negotiating terms and ensuring efficient inventory management.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, strong communication and stakeholder engagement, and proven contract negotiation experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings and timely material availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Procurement and inventory/forecast planning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
• Confident in presenting to management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing activities, supplier identification, market analysis, RFQ/RFP management, and contract negotiations.
• Negotiate with suppliers on product specifications, quality, price, and delivery terms.
• Manage consumables, MRO items, spare parts, and project-related materials.
• Review new material or part requests and add items to the system if needed.
• Work with stakeholders to evaluate and set up new suppliers in the system.
• Develop strategic plans, forecast material demand, and oversee requirements for timely acquisition and inventory management.
• Create and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve quality or supply issues quickly.
• Act as procurement lead for major projects and supplier engagements.
• Support management reporting and drive supplier development and procurement improvement projects.
• Lead cross functional procurement initiatives and supply risk mitigation programs.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
