Job summary

Amgen Singapore Manufacturing Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Procurement Lead to guide site procurement operations, partner with site leadership and global sourcing, and ensure procurement strategies meet local and global objectives.

You will drive savings programs, manage supplier relationships, and lead cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Facilities & Engineering, and Supply Chain while upholding GLP, GMP, and ISO standards.

Qualifications

Doctorate degree with 2 years of directly related experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years of directly related experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of directly related experience.
Experience managing direct and/or indirect manufacturing spend categories.
Experience working in an international and cross-cultural environment.
Strong understanding of market dynamics and factors influencing business decisions, including supplier ecosystems, regulatory requirements, and competitive advantages.
Solid knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, including tendering, supplier negotiations, and contract management across multiple spend categories.

Responsibilities

Drive procurement operations at the site and act as the key liaison between site leadership and Global Sourcing.
Drive strategic procurement initiatives, supplier partnerships, and value creation across the site.
Identify inefficiencies and implement changes to enhance manufacturing performance, speed, and delivery.
Lead multi-year savings and value plans aligned with category and business strategies.
Ensure procurement deliverables meet regulatory requirements (GLP, GMP, ISO) and conduct audits.
