Qualifications

• Doctorate with 2+ years of related experience in biotech or pharma.
• Master's with 6+ years of related experience in pharma manufacturing.
• Bachelor's with 8+ years of related experience in manufacturing.
• 8+ years proven experience in protein, API, Drug Substance, Drug Product, or packaging manufacturing.
• 8+ years working knowledge of cGMP principles, FDA and other regulatory guidelines, and validation principles.
• 5+ years demonstrated in a people leadership and team management role.
• Self-starter with a high level of comfort with ambiguity and complexity and the ability to multi-task while consistently delivering quality results.
• Travel required to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing operations: Oversee budget development, monitoring, and reporting; input to contracts and agreements; coach staff on deviations, CAPA, CAPA EV and change control records.
• Site performance monitoring: Report contract site performance metrics; identify improvement opportunities; standardize performance tools; oversee procurement/payments and participate in meetings.
• Project Management and Technology transfers: Manage department-wide projects from conception to implementation; coordinate risks and escalation.
• Business process improvements and AI implementation: Lead initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement AI-enabled solutions.
