Job summary

St Engineering in Singapore West seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead shipbuilding projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, and supervision across engineering, procurement, production and quality teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery of high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 8–10 years in marine project management, strong shipbuilding know-how, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of project management experience in marine/shipbuilding
• Strong knowledge of shipbuilding processes and specs
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills across diverse teams
• Proficient with project management tools and reporting
• Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels
• Budget, contracts and supplier management experience
• Commitment to safety and compliance on site
• PMP or equivalent certification desirable

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, milestones and resources for shipbuilding initiatives
• Coordinate project execution, track progress and ensure timelines and budgets
• Lead risk management and mitigation planning to minimise delivery impact
• Maintain proactive communication with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Oversee procurement activities ensuring quality standards and contracts
• Conduct status reviews and report to senior management and clients
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental practices are integrated
• Promote continuous improvement by applying lessons learned
