Job summary

Maritec Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic Sales & Business Development professional to target pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetics, and related sectors requiring third-party laboratory testing services. You will manage existing customers and identify new opportunities, acting as the primary contact for commercial and service-related matters across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of sales or business development experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, and Lab teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within sectors requiring third-party laboratory testing services.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing Ugene Lab customers, acting as the main contact for commercial and service matters.
• Prepare and issue accurate quotations, proposals, and Quality/Service Agreements in coordination with Quality and Technical teams.
• Understand customer testing needs and liaise with operations to confirm feasibility and capacity.
• Coordinate onboarding of new customers, including review of Quality Agreements and NDAs.
• Track and manage the sales pipeline and monitor revenue targets.
• Handle inquiries and service issues, escalating as needed to QA and Lab Operations.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to inform pricing and strategy.
• Support participation in trade shows and marketing initiatives to promote Ugene Lab.
