Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) seeks a proactive planner to support the Science and Engineering Research Council's planning and policy work under the RIE 2030 plan. You will analyse data, coordinate across stakeholders, and help translate concepts into practical implementation plans in a dynamic public sector environment.

You will work on resource monitoring, budgeting, and performance analysis to inform strategic decisions, with opportunities to shape science and tech

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in STEM or Business.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Power BI or equivalent)
• Fresh graduates welcome; experience in public sector planning is an advantage.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to translate concepts into implementation plans.
• Resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and in a team to deliver results under tight timelines.

Responsabilités

• Support senior management in governance and allocation of resources.
• Synthesize data and develop recommendations for executive decision making.
• Review and improve SERC strategy, policy, operations and processes.
• Develop specific measures of success with relevant experts.
• Conduct financial modelling and monitor budgets for SERC entities.
• Analyse and track performance of SERC entities.
• Develop and implement SERC Space and Infrastructure masterplans.
• Organise events for management reviews and chart strategic directions.
• Handle administrative matters (budgets, office space, procurement, contracts).
