Hitachi Rail Singapore is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Manager on a 12-month contract to lead procurement and production activities, manage risks, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams across the project lifecycle.

The role requires an engineering or business background with 5+ years in procurement or project management, and familiarity with SAP would be beneficial. This position offers an international, collaborative environment with a global company footprint in Singapore.

Qualifications

Engineering background or Business Administration preferred.
Minimum 5 years in procurement, supply chain, bid management or project management.

Responsibilities

Define industrial strategy plan and budget for procurement and production activities.
Monitor EAC/ETC files, prepare dashboards for stakeholders.
Identify risks and opportunities, mitigate to improve competitiveness and profitability.
Coordinate Category Managers and suppliers for cost, quality, and schedule.
Create initial Project Plan during bid/demand phase with milestones and resources.
Ensure timely Purchase Requisitions/POs and liaise with installation and testing teams.
