Job summary

You will review drawings, prepare quotations, and maintain costing databases to optimise project costs. In this role you will source quotations, negotiate terms, manage subcontractor documentation, monitor budgets, track costs, and coordinate with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely reporting and project

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Prepare quotations, costing, and tender submissions.
• Conduct material and labour cost analysis.
• Maintain updated costing databases and market pricing.
• Provide value engineering recommendations to optimise project costs.
• Source and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare tender documentation and purchase orders.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Maintain supplier and subcontractor databases.
• Prepare subcontract agreements and project documentation.
• Monitor project variations and issue variation orders.
• Maintain proper contractual records and supporting documents.
• Monitor project budgets and track actual costs.
• Verify subcontractor claims and supplier invoices.
• Prepare cost reports and profit tracking updates.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved margins.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Attend project meetings and site visits when required.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and project documentation.
