Job summary

Lie Yang Construction is seeking a diligent Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, tendering, contracts, and final accounts on Singapore projects. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing and compliant commercial management.

The role requires a diploma or degree in QS or related field, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Office and QS software.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, tendering, and quantity measurement.
• Familiar with Progress Claims, Variation Orders, and Final Accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender documents for construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate pricing.
• Contract & Commercial Management: Manage construction contracts and monitor contractual obligations.
• Review quotations, contracts, and commercial terms with contractors and suppliers.
• Progress Claims & Payment: Prepare and assess progress claims and payment applications.
• Final Account & Documentation: Prepare and negotiate final accounts upon project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, quotations, claims, variations, and other commercial documents.
