TIS CONTRACTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage all financial, contractual, and material costs from design through completion, aiming to minimise expenses and maximise value while upholding quality.

You will review drawings for cost estimates, prepare BoQ, evaluate bids, draft contracts (SIA/FIDIC), conduct site valuations, and settle final accounts. This is a full-time, on-site role in Singapore with opportunities for professional growth and exposure to major

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
Strong numerical accuracy and sharp negotiation skills.
Deep knowledge of local construction costs and basic contract law.

Responsibilities

Cost Estimation: Review drawings to forecast material, labour, plant, and equipment costs.
Tender & Procurement: Prepare BoQ, evaluate bids, negotiate with suppliers.
Contract Administration: Draft standard contracts (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC, or FIDIC) and manage compliance.
Progress Valuations: Conduct site visits to verify progress and certify payments.
Variation Claims: Assess and negotiate design variations or site changes.
Final Accounts: Settle and close out final project accounts including retention sums and disputes.
