Job summary

Leighton Contractors (Asia) Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking a project schedulers to develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, track progress, and update timelines. The role covers monitoring critical paths, milestones, and deliverables, with risk mitigation as needed.

The incumbent will coordinate resources, monitor progress across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Prepare baseline schedules, track progress, and update project timelines regularly.
• Monitor critical paths, milestones, and project deliverables.
• Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation or recovery plans.
• Track engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Measure actual progress against planned progress.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for project stakeholders.
• Generate schedule performance indicators and analyze project trends.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material requirements with project teams.
• Assist in resource loading and forecasting.
• Ensure resources are allocated efficiently to meet project milestones.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, production, construction, vendors, and clients.
• Coordinate project activities to ensure alignment with the master schedule.
• Support meetings by providing schedule updates and action tracking.
• Identify potential delays and schedule deviations.
• Conduct impact assessments and delay analysis.
• Recommend corrective actions to recover lost progress.
• Assist with forecasting project completion dates and manpower requirements.
• Support cost control and earned value management activities.
• Monitor productivity and project performance against budget and schedule.
• Maintain planning records, logs, and schedule revisions.
• Ensure planning activities comply with project procedures and requirements.
• Support preparation of client submissions and management presentations.
• Coordinate FAT schedules with vendors and clients.
• Monitor manufacturing progress against agreed production plans.
• Track FAT punch lists and ensure close-out actions are completed.
• Facilitate communication between design, production, and quality teams to minimize rework and delays.
• Provide core support to your superior
• Manage to complete the add-hoc tasks &assignment given in dedicate timeline.
