Job summary

Schneider Electric Singapore seeks a Solution Purchaser (contract) to manage end-to-end Solution Supply Chain operations, spanning sourcing, purchasing, planning and logistics for Tender and Project Execution activities, across intra-group and outside-group procurement.

The role requires negotiating terms, mitigating supply chain risks, and delivering cost-effective procurement while ensuring quality and on-time delivery for diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/ Mechanical Engineering and/or Supply Chain & Logistics (Preferred).
• Professional Supply Chain Certification (CPSM, ISM, etc) is a plus.
• Minimum 4-5 years in supply chain operations with focus in project procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and purchasing for Tender and Project Execution activities for both Intra group and Outside group procurement.
• Define and deploy supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee the complete procurement process from identifying business opportunities to sourcing from internal and external vendors, all the way through to execution.
• Negotiate Terms & Conditions with suppliers securing back to back and If When conditions vs Schneider Electric customer conditions.
• Ensure timely delivery of purchased goods and services with the best parameters of cost, quality, safety, and sustainability.
• Lead strategic procurement and sourcing for network equipment, control panels, field devices, servers, workstations, software licenses, and installation services.
• Review vendor and subcontractor compliance against tender specifications, BOQs, datasheets, and RACI matrices.
