Job summary

STATS ChipPAC, Inc. in Singapore seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead strategic customer programs in advanced packaging.

You will own programs end-to-end, align engineering, operations and manufacturing, and champion customer voice across the business. You will drive projects from concept through qualification, pilot production and ramp, coordinate across sites, manage risks, and deliver regular program updates to leadership.

Job Responsibility

• Strategic Program Leadership and Customer Advocacy
  • a) Act as the primary internal project owner for strategic customer programs in advanced packaging, representing the voice of the customer and ensuring alignment across business units, engineering, operations and manufacturing sites.
  • b) Drive critical customer projects from concept stage through qualification, pilot production and volume ramp, with particular focus on new opportunities in HPC, AI, CPO, Silicon Photonics and other emerging technologies.
  • c) Build project structures and execution frameworks for new businesses from the ground up, establishing timelines, milestones, risk management processes and cross-functional governance mechanisms to support successful commercialization.
• Cross-Site and Cross-Functional Program Management
  • a) Coordinate activities across multiple manufacturing sites and functional organizations, including R&D, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales and Technical Marketing, to achieve program objectives and customer commitments.
  • b) Lead project reviews, track deliverables, manage dependencies and proactively resolve issues that may impact project schedule, quality, cost or customer satisfaction.
  • c) Ensure effective communication and decision-making among stakeholders by consolidating technical, operational and commercial information into actionable program plans and management updates.
• New Business Introduction and Capability Development
  • a) Support the introduction of new products and technologies by managing qualification plans, production readiness activities and customer engagement throughout the NPI lifecycle.
  • b) Identify capability gaps, resource requirements and operational constraints necessary to support emerging customer opportunities, particularly in advanced packaging platforms for AI, HPC and CPO applications.
  • c) Work closely with technical teams to translate customer requirements into practical development and execution plans, ensuring alignment between market opportunities and internal capability roadmaps.
• Strategic Investment and Capacity Readiness
  • a) Partner with business, engineering and operations teams to evaluate long-term technology, capacity and infrastructure requirements required to support strategic customer programs.
  • b) Provide market, customer and project insights to support investment prioritization, capacity planning and capability development decisions.
  • c) Track execution of approved investment initiatives and ensure resources are aligned to support project milestones, qualification schedules and future production needs.
• Executive Reporting and Risk Management
  • a) Establish project governance processes and provide regular updates to management on program status, key achievements, risks and mitigation plans.
  • b) Identify and escalate critical business, technical and operational risks, driving timely resolution across organizations.
  • c) Support management decision-making by providing fact-based assessments on project readiness, customer commitments, technology maturity and execution risks.
