GlobalFoundries Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior program manager to drive complex semiconductor technology programs from planning to delivery.

You will act as the central point of accountability across internal teams, customers, vendors, and technical stakeholders. Responsibilities include owning project execution, developing plans for technology enablement or transfers, monitoring cost/schedule/specifications, and mitigating risks while ensuring milestones and commitments are met.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in project, program, or product management.
  • Strong execution and follow-through on emails, action items, commitments, and details.

Responsibilities

  • Own full project execution and be the go-to for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute project plans for enablement of new technologies or transfers.
  • Analyze data and monitor programs to ensure contract scope, cost, schedule, and specs.
  • Drive team members to meet milestones and customer commitments.
  • Document, track, and close meeting minutes, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Identify risks and define mitigation actions.
  • Track and report progress to key stakeholders, including customers.
  • Travel as needed for customer requests, workshops, reviews, and staff meetings.

This role owns the execution of complex semiconductor technology programs from planning through delivery, serving as the central point of accountability across internal teams, customers, vendors, and technical stakeholders.

  • Full project execution ownership and go-to person for all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute the project plan for the enablement of new technologies and/or technology transfers.
  • Analyze data and monitor programs to ensure adherence to contract scope of work, cost, schedule, and technical specifications.
  • Drive project team members and contributors to meet critical milestones and customer commitments.
  • Document, track, and drive closure of meeting minutes, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Proactively identify key risks to the program and define mitigation actions.
  • Track and report progress to key stakeholders (including external customers).
  • Travel as needed for customer requests, workshops, project reviews, and staff meetings.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in semiconductor industry
  • Prior experience or formal training in project, program, or product management.
  • Highly reliable and execution-focused, with disciplined follow-through on emails, action items, commitments, and details of every size.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - influence without authority
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills – confidence in leading calls with various execs, technical experts, and/or vendors and customers.
  • Detail-oriented - can identify what’s missing in planning and execution.
  • Resourceful - solves non-routine issues.
  • Personal and professional drive for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to distill complex issues and information into simple narratives.
Nice To Have skills
  • 8 + years in program management in semiconductor industry
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of semiconductor device physics and processes.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin to deal with customers in Taiwan/China region.
  • PhD in technical field.
  • Have a record of successfully delivering high-profile, complex technical projects against tight deadlines.
  • Experience leading initiatives, onboarding, and mentoring other peers.
