Job summary

Allinton Engineering & Trading Pte Ltd is seeking a Product Development Specialist to join the team and work directly under the CEO in a focused product development function. You will identify commercially viable product opportunities for the Singapore industrial market and conduct independent research to propose market-ready solutions.

Collaborate with Sales, Procurement and Operations to ensure technical feasibility and commercial viability of new product ideas.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or diploma holder with engineering/business background.
Experience in product development, technical sales, or industrial markets preferred.
Strong market awareness and commercial thinking.
Able to identify opportunities and develop practical solutions.
Analytical skills in costing and margin evaluation.
Good communication and presentation skills with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies in Singapore.
Identify opportunities for new products or improvements to existing products.
Engage with customers to understand operational challenges and requirements.
Translate market insights into actionable product development opportunities.
Prepare commercial proposals including product specs, market applications, costing, margins, and supplier sourcing.
