Job summary

The role requires strong negotiation, analytical, and MS Office skills to maintain inventories, evaluate suppliers, and coordinate with multiple teams.

You will drive contract development, monitor performance, and implement improvements across procurement processes while aligning with organizational standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree
• Relevant procurement experience
• Excellent communications and negotiation skills with vendors

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in all activities of the purchasing department.
• Maintain master procurement list and activate contracts near expiring dates.
• Ensure adherence to Procurement SOP and internal procedures by staff.
• Prepare plans for purchasing equipment, services and supplies.
• Enforce company procurement policies and procedures.
• Review, compare, analyze and approve products/services to be purchased.
• Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase/pricing records.
• Maintain supplier information and relationships; negotiate contracts.
• Research and evaluate prospective suppliers for value and quality.
• Select and purchase quality products/materials and build supplier relations.
• Process requisitions and update management on order status.
• Update inventory to keep stock levels appropriate.
• Analyze market trends to inform buying decisions.
• Coordinate with inventory, management, and stockroom teams as needed.
• Assess quality of received stock and elevate discrepancies to suppliers.
