Job summary

Careers @ Focal Search is seeking a procurement professional to manage the full procurement cycle, from supplier sourcing to delivery follow-up, in support of the company’s operations in Singapore.

You will evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, process purchase orders, maintain ERP records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement, cost efficiency and governance compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Maritime Studies or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience in marine, offshore, shipyard, engineering or technical service industries will be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle, including supplier sourcing, RFQ issuance, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, purchase order processing and delivery follow-up.
• Procure materials, equipment and services to support business requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders and supplier performance, proactively addressing delivery delays, quality concerns and commercial issues.
• Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, reliability and overall commercial value.
• Support supplier onboarding, vendor master data maintenance and regular supplier performance evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with relevant teams to ensure timely and effective procurement support.
• Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, approval procedures and procurement governance requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records in the ERP system, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and audit-ready.
• Assist with procurement reporting, KPI tracking and initiatives aimed at improving procurement efficiency, cost effectiveness and processes.
