Job summary

Syspex Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a procurement professional to manage daily purchasing activities for materials, equipment and services in support of ongoing projects. You will review MRP requirements, plan purchases, source suppliers, obtain quotations and negotiate terms to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in procurement with MRP/ERP familiarity, strong negotiation and Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate across Supply Chain, Sales, Operations and Warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement/purchasing experience.
• Experience in MRP, inventory planning and ERP systems preferred.
• Experience in industrial, engineering or technical products will be an advantage.
• Good negotiation, analytical and supplier management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently with good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement activities for materials, equipment, spare parts and services.
• Review MRP requirements and plan purchases based on demand, inventory levels and lead times.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, reliability to meet specifications.
• Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Prepare POs and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, open POs and shortages to ensure stock availability.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse and Technical teams on material requirements.
• Resolve supplier issues relating to pricing, quality, quantity and delivery.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information in the system.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and sourcing.
• Support project/product sourcing and other procurement activities as required.
