Job summary

Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) invites applications for a Senior Manager / Manager (Procurement). You will support the Assistant Director (Procurement) in managing the procurement function in a fast-paced, volatile environment.

You will execute procurement frameworks, engage divisions, conduct market research, ensure transparency and value for money, and guide contract management while driving innovative improvements.

Qualifications

• Background in procurement or supply chain management.
• Knowledge in government procurement is an advantage.
• Drive to learn and apply new skills and ways of working.
• Effective stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good team player.
• Independent and self-driven; able to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Workday experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute CDA’s procurement and contract management frameworks, processes, approving authorities and templates that dovetail with MOF frameworks.
• Work with CDA Divisions to understand requirements, review specifications, formulate procurement approaches and strategies.
• Conduct market research and engage industries to understand supplier landscape and market supply conditions.
• Conduct procurement processes of sourcing, tendering, evaluation and contract management in accordance with Government procurement policies and guidelines and ensure transparency, fairness and value for money.
• Guide CDA Divisions in the contract management process.
• Innovate and add value to the procurement process.
