Job summary

PSA Corporation in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager in Engineering Components & Services Procurement to drive strategic sourcing, tendering, and contract governance for engineering components and services. You will collaborate with user departments, prepare tender documents, negotiate contracts, and manage post-award activities.

This role offers exposure to supplier management and continuous process improvements in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3–4 years of sourcing/procurement experience.
• Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, tendering, and contract governance.
• Able to negotiate effectively and manage contracts with internal/external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for vendor negotiations.
• Experience with e-procurement platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Zycus) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with user departments to define tender strategies meeting cost and quality targets.
• Prepare robust tender documents with clear specifications.
• Draft and finalize contracts outlining deliverables, responsibilities and liability.
• Conduct evaluations of proposals and lead negotiations for favorable terms.
• Complete tenders on time and manage post-contract obligations with stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate contract-related risks; drive procurement process improvements.
