Job summary

Singapore Business Federation is seeking an Intern for Strategic Platforms to assist in planning and delivering flagship events in Singapore and overseas. You will work with our events team, government agencies, speakers, and industry partners to expand reach and impact through innovative content and formats.

The role offers exposure to event management, stakeholder coordination, and audience engagement, with hands-on experience across physical, virtual, and hybrid platforms.

Qualifications

• Pursuing studies in Business/Business Administration/Marketing and Communications.
• Willing to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
• Proactive in taking on tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Creative and open to generate new concepts and ideas (digital transformation, events, marketing).
• Proficient in English with good writing and project management skills.
• Proficient in Excel to structure and manage partner tracking frameworks (dashboards, logs, reporting).
• Familiarity with Canva, Zoom, Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365; Power BI and Power Automate an advantage.
• Prior experience in project coordination and/or event management is advantageous.
• Must commit to a full-time internship for at least five months starting Jan 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, delivery and improvement of flagship and strategic platforms across formats in Singapore and international markets.
• Coordinate event planning, audience engagement, registration, speaker and partner management, vendor liaison, and event-day operations.
• Prepare timely project updates, briefs, meeting notes, dashboards and post-event reports with attendance, engagement and feedback tracking.
• Support Make SBF Events Great initiatives, including data-informed audience targeting and participant experience improvements.
• Propose new initiatives to capture content, expand reach and magnify impact post-event.
