Job summary

IMD Info-communications Media Development Authority invites a dynamic Planning & Strategy professional to shape Singapore's tech talent landscape. You will develop talent strategies, forecast trends, coordinate policy interventions, and communicate insights to management.

You will engage senior stakeholders, prepare analyses and proposals, and work across teams in a fast-paced public sector environment to drive evidence-based policymaking and manpower planning.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of experience in planning or strategy roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present analyses clearly.
• Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Public sector or tech industry experience in policy/planning is a plus.
• Experience proposing and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop tech and media talent strategies to keep pace with emerging tech and media developments.
• Integrate efforts across policy interventions in Pre-Employment Training, Continuing Education and Training, Scholarships and Global manpower.
• Conduct research, sense-making and forecasting of trends relevant to the tech and media talent landscape, identify new jobs and skills in demand
• Develop strategic data insights to support evidence-based policymaking.
• Communicate IMDA’s position in tech talent matters through various engagement channels.
• Manage and coordinate strategic resources.
• Develop the cluster’s workplan, track and review performance outcomes, conduct corporate reporting to management.
