Job summary

The Housing & Development Board (HDB) in Singapore is seeking a communications professional to join the Strategic Communications & Engagement Group. You will help develop and implement strategies to promote understanding of HDB’s policies and programmes.

In Media Relations, you will strategise publicity plans, organise media visits and events, craft timely responses to queries, and monitor coverage to address issues of public interest. The role includes a 1-year contract.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English and strong interpersonal skills.
• Keen interest in current affairs and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in communications, journalism, design, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategise and execute publicity plans across mainstream and online media.
• Plan media visits and events to raise awareness of policies and programmes.
• Assess and craft timely responses to media queries, forum letters, and editorials.
• Monitor media coverage and plan publicity to address issues of public interest.
