Job summary

Housing and Development Board (HDB) seeks a dynamic communications professional to join its Strategic Communications & Engagement Group. You will develop and implement communications strategies to promote understanding of HDB’s policies and programmes across media and owned platforms.

You will strategise publicity plans, organise media visits, craft rapid responses to inquiries, and monitor coverage to shape public perception of HDB policies. Contract available for 1 year.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Keen interest in current affairs; thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Prior experience in communications, journalism, design, or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement publicity plans to profile Singapore's public housing programme and policies across mainstream and online media.
• Plan and organise media visits and events; engage media to raise awareness of HDB's policies.
• Craft timely responses to media queries, forum letters, editorials and similar requests.
• Monitor media coverage and plan publicity to address issues of media interest.
