Job summary

Chevron Oronite in Singapore is seeking a Logistics & Raw Materials Specialist - Purchasing to manage sourcing and logistics for the Singapore Manufacturing Plant.

You will collaborate with planning, procurement and suppliers, execute purchase orders in SAP, monitor delivery schedules and drive process improvements.

Applicants should have a degree in SCM/Engineering/Business, 3–5 years of logistics experience, and proficiency in SAP, Power BI and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Engineering / Business.
• 3–5 years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations.
• Ability to connect and build relationships with suppliers and 3PL service providers.
• Strong analytical and planning skills to analyze issues and develop solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, Advanced Excel, and Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Place and manage purchases of raw materials for SMP; track orders and delivery status in SAP.
• Coordinate with EO Planning, Procurement and Schedulers on PO placing, order status and changes.
• Monitor timely and accurate fulfilment of local and overseas materials; manage SAP shipments.
• Proactively engage suppliers to ensure on-time arrivals and develop alternative supply plans with stakeholders.
• Provide updates on delivery schedules and shipping details in SAP for real-time communications.
• Support digitalisation and data quality initiatives to improve purchasing efficiency and visibility.
