Job summary

Chevron Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Logistics & Raw Materials Specialist - Purchasing to manage raw material sourcing, supplier coordination and delivery execution at Jurong Island. You will coordinate PO placement in SAP, monitor shipments, resolve issues, and support digitalisation of purchasing processes to improve supply chain visibility.

The role requires 3–5 years in logistics, with fluency in SAP, Power BI and Advanced Excel; effective collaboration with EO Planning, Procurement and 3PL

Qualifications

• Bachelor or diploma in supply chain, engineering or business.
• 3–5 years in logistics, supply chain or operations.
• Ability to connect with suppliers and 3PLs.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Good verbal and written communication; fluency with SAP, Power BI, Advanced Excel and Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Fulfils purchases of raw materials, intermediates and finished packages for the Singapore Manufacturing Plant.
• Coordinates PO placement, order status, delivery dates and quantity changes with EO Planning and Schedulers.
• Manages order processing in SAP and tracks shipments to ensure timely arrivals.
• Interacts with suppliers to develop alternate supply plans and resolve deviations.
• Provides updates on delivery schedules and shipping details in SAP for stakeholders.
• Tracks ISO tank returns, demurrages and supplier invoices; monitors supplier performance metrics.
• Resolves material quality issues and invoice discrepancies with internal teams and suppliers.
• Manages supplier non-conformance investigations and CAPA with Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing.
• Coordinates logistics with 3PLs and internal teams for material prioritisation.
• Conducts 3rd party logistics audits, stock takes and import clearance where needed.
• Supports process improvement, digitalisation and data quality in purchasing.
