Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Material Planner in Singapore to manage material planning and scheduling, ensuring uninterrupted material availability for production. You will monitor inventory, assess supply risks, coordinate with suppliers, and optimize logistics costs while maintaining alignment with customer demands.

The role requires collaboration with multiple internal teams and a focus on improving planning accuracy, inventory levels, and KPI performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Experience in Material Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Purchasing, or Supply Chain in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and inventory management.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and planning materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute material planning and scheduling to support production and customer demand.
• Monitor material availability and manage supply risks to prevent interruptions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials per schedule.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels balancing customer needs and targets.
• Analyze material requirements and inventory trends to improve planning accuracy.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, and Engineering teams for readiness.
• Track and improve KPIs related to inventory and supplier performance.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and enhance supply chain performance.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and PC&L procedures.
