Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Materials Planner to ensure material availability and optimize inventory to support production operations. The role requires SAP proficiency to monitor stock and coordinate material flow across departments.

The 12-month contract location at Changi involves planning, scheduling, and collaborating with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to maintain planned inventory levels and resolve shortages.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Excellent knowledge of inventory management processes.
• Understanding of MRP, production scheduling, and material planning.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Use SAP to verify parts availability and monitor inventory levels.
• Plan, schedule, and track material movement throughout the production cycle.
• Determine material requirements based on production and engineering schedules.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Maintain inventory at planned levels and support material purchasing activities.
• Monitor and resolve material shortages, variances, and non-conformances.
• Develop material specifications for new contract orders and support continuous process improvements.
