Job summary

Eaton, based in Singapore, is seeking a Material Planner to drive material planning and supply chain execution for East Asia projects. You will manage SIOP processes, optimize inventory, and coordinate with suppliers to meet customer commitments while maintaining stock health.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Material Planning or Supply Chain.
Very proficient in SAP MM module.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Good knowledge of Incoterms.
Understanding inbound processes from overseas suppliers to destination locations and outbound processes to customers.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage material requirements to support project schedules, customer orders, and service spare requirements.
Execute supply planning activities based on customer forecasts, project schedules, and inventory targets.
Monitor material shortages and develop recovery plans to minimize impact.
Review planning parameters like lead times, safety stock, and reorder points.
Ensure timely purchase signals through SAP MRP systems.
Collaborate with SCM and suppliers to ensure on-time material deliveries.
