Job summary

Singapore Childrens' Society invites an experienced leader to assume the role of Assistant Director / Deputy Director in Community Engagement and Partnerships. This role drives strategic engagement with donors, partners and volunteers, translating strategy into programs that safeguard and support children, youth and families in Singapore.

Reporting to the Head of CEP, you will lead high-performing teams, strengthen governance, and develop sustainable engagement models.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in the social service or non-profit sector.
• Proven experience leading teams and translating strategy into operational outcomes.
• Proven experience managing relationships with donors, corporate partners, volunteers or community stakeholders.
• Experience in governance, safeguarding, compliance and risk management within external engagement functions will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to teams responsible for donor engagement, volunteer engagement and partner engagement, fostering a collaborative, relationship-centred and high-performing culture.
• Translate organisational priorities into practical engagement strategies that strengthen supporter acquisition, retention and long-term sustainability.
• Coach and develop managers and team members to build capability, accountability and professional growth.
• Champion innovation by identifying new opportunities, engagement approaches and partnership models that strengthen the Society's reach and impact.
