Job summary

Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) is leading Singapore’s digital economy vision and seeks a Senior Manager to drive RIE initiatives in Future Communications & Frontier Technologies. You will shape research-to-business strategies, foster international partnerships, and collaborate with local and global researchers to translate findings into market opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
At least 10 years of experience in relevant field(s).
Familiarity with the RIE ecosystem.
Strong strategic thinking and collaborative attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Strong stakeholder management with local and overseas partners.

Responsibilities

Work with internal stakeholders to develop research-to-business strategies in Future Communications & Frontier Technologies and cross-domain research.
Prepare RIE funding initiatives and monitor funded programmes progress.
Create impactful collaborations with Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and Research Institutes (RIs).
Lead efforts to translate research findings into viable business opportunities.
Support international collaborations.
Monitor and contextualise global technology shifts to guide policy and drive value.
