Job summary

Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) is driving Singapore’s digital economy. We seek a Manager to lead RIE efforts in AI and Trust Technologies, cross-domain research, and research-to-business development.

You will translate research into commercial opportunities and orchestrate international partnerships. You will collaborate with local and international researchers and represent Singapore and IMDA in technology forums, shaping policy and strategic direction.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
5-8 years of experience managing technology teams in research and/or engineering.
Familiarity with the RIE ecosystem.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong stakeholder management to work with local and overseas partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop research to business strategies in AI and Trust Technologies, and cross-domain research aligned to national strategic interests.
Strategise to create impactful collaborations with IHLs and RIs in AI and Trust Technologies and cross-domain research.
Represent Singapore and/or IMDA in relevant research and technology forums and standards setting committees.
Lead efforts to translate research findings into viable business opportunities.
Drive international collaborations.
Monitor and contextualise global shifts in AI and Trust Technologies to inform policy and value capture.
