is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing and purchasing for our new Tuas site, collaborating with engineering, logistics and finance teams to procure equipment, lab instruments, raw materials and indirect goods throughout construction and daily operations. You will prepare RFQs/RFPs, raise purchase orders, track delivery schedules and assist with tender documentation, contract administration and supplier qualification, while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Experience in chemical materials, equipment or lab instruments procurement/purchasing.
• Strong English and Mandarin communication skills (reading, writing and speaking) with China and overseas stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good negotiation and supplier-relationship skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel and ERP procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end purchasing: RFQs/RFPs, quotations, supplier recommendations.
• Raise and track purchase orders; ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with tender docs, basic contract admin and change tracking.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve procurement issues.
• Maintain supplier records, vendor evaluations, onboarding and qualification.
• Ensure procurement actions comply with policies and regulations; maintain audit-ready docs.
• Support customs/import coordination and logistics paperwork.
• Produce regular procurement reports and identify cost-saving opportunities.
