Job summary

Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an IT procurement professional to identify and select vendors for software, IoT, and digital solutions. You will negotiate terms, manage RFQs/RFPs, and handle contract management to drive cost savings and value.

You will liaise with IT teams and vendors to ensure technical compatibility, track orders, and maintain accurate records while supporting governance and compliance across the procurement lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT procurement or IT asset management.
• Strong knowledge of: Software licensing models (SaaS, perpetual, subscription).
• IoT devices and protocols.
• Networking hardware and configurations.
• Digital platforms and cloud services.
• Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management
• Resourceful with high level of honesty and integrity.
• Has initiative and hold information in the strictest confidence.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP (MM module preferred) and/or Oracle procurement modules
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for software, IoT, networking, and digital solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and SLAs to optimize cost and value.
• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract management.
• Conduct sourcing activities, obtain competitive quotes, and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Issue POs in accordance with internal policies and approval matrices.
• Support contract and price negotiations to achieve cost savings and value improvements.
• Maintain purchasing records, pricing, lead times, and supplier data within systems.
• Interact with approved suppliers to track order status and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and production teams for material requirements.
• Work with logistics, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure PO–GR–Invoice flow.
• Ensure compliance with Seatrium procurement procedures, audit requirements, and governance standards.
• Identify risks in supply availability, pricing, or vendor reliability, and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with IT teams to understand technical requirements and ensure compatibility.
