Job summary

AstraZeneca Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Innovation and Ecosystem Partnership Lead to drive development and governance of ecosystem partnerships and innovative clinical trial projects in Singapore. You will engage partners, negotiate and finalise arrangements with a view to expanding AZ’s pipeline and access to innovative medicines.

Reporting to Medical or Commercial leadership, you will lead strategic partnerships, coordinate with Medical Affairs, Market Access and Corporate Affairs, and

Qualifications

• Degree level education with pharma/biotech exposure.
• Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical business, processes and activities.
• Good knowledge of disease areas and drug development within AZ.
• Experience leading multiple, large international multi-functional project teams.
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Experience presenting business cases to senior management.
• Knowledge of deal structures and legal principles.
• Numerate with financial literacy.
• Proven negotiation skills in intense deal environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development, execution and governance of innovative partnership projects with ecosystem partners.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand AZ’s clinical trials pipeline in Singapore.
• Provide clinical development and indication expertise for the country and validate study designs.
• Lead externalisation input into assigned business area for Transform Care projects with cross-functional support.
• Manage relationships with potential partners in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to improve clinical trials processes and timelines.
• Identify and establish external networks to build ecosystem partnerships and trial opportunities in Singapore.
