Qualifications

• PhD in Clinical Sciences, Medicine or MD/MBBS required.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in clinical leadership within diagnostics/pharma.
• Translate clinical insights into actionable product development specifications.
• Experience in design and development of companion diagnostics.
• Deep understanding of diagnostic development lifecycles and evidence generation.
• Practical knowledge of international clinical/regulatory frameworks (HSA, FDA, IVDR, NMPA).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with clinicians, researchers, regulators, industry partners.
• Experience leading clinical programs in genomics, molecular diagnostics or infectious disease testing.
• Proven record of cross-sector partnerships or consortium-based R&D initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical input and strategy across partnered diagnostic development programs.
• Identify companion diagnostics partnership opportunities and engage with biotech/pharma.
• Translate unmet clinical needs into TPPS and clinical performance specs.
• Review and interpret clinical guidelines to define use cases and utility frameworks.
• Advise on clinical study design, endpoints, and patient selection for submissions.
• Coach internal teams to align clinical strategy with product requirements and partnerships.
• Contribute to regulatory and ethics submissions related to diagnostic validation.
• Represent the organization in external meetings and consortium activities.
