Job summary

Molex in Singapore seeks a Sourcing Engineer for Indirect categories to drive strategic and tactical sourcing in support of Molex Singapore plant operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure governance in procurement processes, supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives.

The role reports to the Sourcing Center Manager in Singapore and requires experience in RFQ/RFP, supplier negotiation, and category management within indirect procurement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree with 5 years in Indirect Sourcing or Procurement.
• Procurement experience in indirect categories such as Facilities, Packaging, MRO, HR, Machinery or others.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools and reporting will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage Indirect Sourcing processes including RFQ, RFP, competitive bidding, auction and cost benchmarking.
• Collaborate with Category Management to deliver best-fit strategies for Plant Operations.
• Own procurement KPIs and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Contract management, PR/PO processing and supplier invoicing.
