Job summary

Molex is seeking a VP, Global Category Management – Electronics, based in Singapore, to define and drive the enterprise electronics strategy across five divisions. The role partners with Molex leadership to optimize supplier collaboration, technology alignment, and supply assurance in a dynamic global environment.

The executive will lead cross-functional teams, govern supplier relationships, and oversee category metrics, governance, and value delivery while influencing product competitiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership across global procurement/category management, strategic sourcing, and/or engineering within electronics.
• Proven executive ownership of complex, global categories with significant spend and supplier complexity.
• Strong experience in negotiations and contracting (pricing, supply agreements, LTAs, capacity reservations, IP/technology collaborations).

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the global electronics category vision and multi-year strategy.
• Drive cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and risk reduction across the enterprise.
• Lead supplier governance, executive relationships, and strategic supplier engagements (EBRs, QBRs).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize total enterprise value and standardization initiatives.
