Job summary

National University of Singapore is seeking an HR Business Partner (Manager/Assistant Senior Manager) for the School of Computing. You will partner with school leadership to deliver a full spectrum of HR services from recruitment to performance and development, ensuring alignment with university strategy.

The role requires proactive advisory support, strong stakeholder relationship management and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–7 years of HR business partner experience, preferably in higher education or research.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong IT literacy with numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrates integrity, proactive service orientation and teamwork.
• University degree with HR management specialization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner and support business line heads and managers in HR functions across talent acquisition, staff retention, compensation, performance appraisals, and talent development.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to review and administer rewards and benefits programmes.
• Serve as contact point for employee relations issues, providing HR advice and reassessing situations.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned.
